TekCare takes advantage of the recent progress of the Health-IoT world to review the clinical and organizational path of chronic patients, disabled or incapacitated people, inspired by the philosophy of industry 4.0.
The project aims at the creation and implementation of an environmental and clinical monitoring system for people unable to protect themselves or with disabling pathologies.
The system consists of:
A device (gateway) that collects data from the environment and sends them to the network;
Sensors and devices combined with a cloud based platform.
The data is analyzed and made usable for control and intervention actions in order to safeguard the health, well-being and comfort of the monitored subjects.
The system can be installed in:
Private homes, for home monitoring;
Public buildings, such as Senior Houses, nursing homes, sheltered homes, etc.
